At right around 180cm (roughly 5' 10"), Graham isn't remarkably tall or short. Likewise, he isn't lanky or overly muscular, though well-toned and slim from his background in sports. Still, he commands a degree of attention with a usually confident expression and posture. He has sharp, green eyes and blonde hair which curls slightly and is usually somewhat unkempt. He doesn't spend much time on his appearance, though his clothes are always clean, if not unornamental. Provided they don't get in the way or look completely unprofessional, he's fine with most everything.. | |
Personality | |
Most of the time, he is level-headed and sociable, rarely letting words and rumors get under his skin. He has enough self-respect that he doesn't react to insults easily, and usually doesn't lose his temper or get flustered over silly things. This aside, he also tends to be more eccentric and dramatic when he finds something he likes. Intelligent and highly motivated, Graham is remarkably reliable and is rarely satisfied with projects that don't provide a challenge. An overachiever, through and through. Despite this, Graham can be too intense for his own good. His pride and passion can override his logic, making him incredibly pigheaded to the point that not even common sense will get in his way. Considering his very low sense of self-preservation and tendency to ignore limits, this can frequently put him in dangerous situations. And while he rarely loses his temper, the fastest way to bother Graham is to bother his friends, in which case he is very unlikely to be forgiving. | |
History | |
Born into a largely military family, the Akers moved frequently and decided that Graham was high-maintence enough that they didn't need any more children. At home it was usually him and his mother, who was the one who sparked his interest in engineering. There was very little tragedy or drama in the household, besides whatever trouble Graham caused at school. In that area, he rarely had issues either; he earned good grades and a strong extracurricular record. The occasional splotches mostly include the occasional fight and broken bones (or other injuries of varying degrees). However, there is one dark spot on his record involving football. Early on in high school, he severely injured one of the upperclassmen during practice, effectively removing the star quarterback from the team and leaving him with lasting brain damage. Though it was entirely an accident, the two had never had good relations before, and the fact that he took over the position within a year sent rumors that followed him all the way until graduation. Graham has mixed feelings over the entire issue, and doesn't speak of it. The only tension that remains in the household is some disgreement between him and his father, though it is more comprised of distance than conflict. | |
